The picture of the cast iron pan below is maybe not the most appetizing to look at, so you'll have to take my word that mingling leftovers was absolutely delicious. I fried some onions in butter and then added leftover mashed potatoes. Once they had a nice golden crisp, I added some leftover turkey in gravy, and then I added the remaining bit of ragout. I covered it, made a little bit of humble salad, and we had a wonderful lunch.
With a hefty lunch under our belts, we were more than ready to head out for a walk on a crisp and clear evening. I thought I'd toss in a picture of my little village before it gets dismantled - because, why not?
